Kevin Anthony Kunzer, MD is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist with the Professional Practice Group at Neuropsychology Associates of Kalamazoo. Previously he served as Staff Psychiatrist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services Portage Clinic and as an Assistant Professor at Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine Psychiatry.
Dr. Kunzer earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2003. While at IU, he served as a research assistant in the lab of Kenneth P. Nephew, PhD Professor of Cellular & Integrative Physiology, Indiana University School of Medicine, researching the Epigenetic Vulnerabilities of Ovarian Cancer Stem Cells. Dr. Kunzer is a graduate of Saba University School of Medicine, Netherlands Antilles, and earned his MD in 2008. Dr. Kunzer was appointed Chief Resident and completed residency training at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine.
Dr. Kunzer is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (DABPN) and is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (FAPA).
Dr. Kunzer is a full-time outpatient Psychiatrist. He cares for patients age 12 years and older.
